The Gentle Hills of the Marche

The landscape of the Marche unfolds in gentle hills, rising softly from the Adriatic Sea to the Apennine mountains. Shot from Sant’Elpidio a Mare, surrounded by the quiet elegance of the countryside, these short videos follow the lines of the Marche hills. The first video, filmed after midday, opens with the Adriatic Sea visible on the horizon, before the gaze turns toward Fermo. Small medieval towns, built of brick and stone, oversee the valleys, while fields, vineyards, and olive groves spread across the land like a patchwork of green and gold. In the final frames, the Sibillini Mountains appear almost blue in the distance.

The second video, recorded at dawn, reveals the same landscape as it slowly emerges from the morning light. In the Marche, the sun rises over the Adriatic Sea, creating delicate plays of light on the water and the hills.
