Between Forest and Stone: a Walk through Sirolo

Beginning in the little square of the town hall, our Sirolo & Numana Walking Tour gently descends toward the sea. The forest breathes salt and resin, and light filters through the trees.

The 20-minute walk toward Spiaggia San Michele sharpens our senses, inviting us to listen to silence and wind before opening onto the shifting blues of the Adriatic Sea. The profile of Mount Conero appears here in its quiet, elegant simplicity.

From nature to stone, the path rises into Sirolo’s old town. The bell tower of the church of Saint Nicholas overlooks the narrow streets, enclosed by the ancient white-stone walls.

The city’s coat of arms, a sea bass, reminds visitors of Sirolo’s centuries-old ties to the sea.
