This three-day itinerary explores the cultural life of central Marche through music, literature, and historic theatres. The journey begins in Recanati, with the Persiani theatre and Beniamino Gigli’s costumes. We will visit the places celebrated in Giacomo Leopardi’s poems, then continue to Macerata to discover the iconic Sferisterio arena. On the second day, the tour focuses on Osimo, where Joseph of Cupertino lived, and Castelfidardo, the world capital of the fisarmonica [accordion]. The third day leads to Tolentino and San Severino Marche, where we discover the legacy of Nicholas of Tolentino, as well as the elegant Feronia theatre.
