Developed by licensed tour guides with over twenty years of experience, Marche to Walk promotes an eco-friendly and culturally open approach to tourism. We offer two main services to help you discover the Marche Region:
- Regular Walking Tours in Ancona, Recanati, and Sirolo & Numana. To join a walking tour, please follow the instructions on the Walking Tours page.
- Guided Tours Across the Marche Region in English, Italian, and German. While we specialize in tours across the Marche’s most iconic destinations, we also design selected experiences such as boat excursions, winery visits, and encounters with olive oil producers. Find inspiration on our Guided Tours page!

Alessandro

Hi, I’m Alessandro. Marche to Walk grew out of my passion for Italian art and my desire to work with people from different cultures. Raised in Sant’Elpidio a Mare, a small town in the Marche, I later studied in Milan, Leuven, Macerata, and the United States, where I completed a Ph.D. in the Humanities at the University of Connecticut.
The Marche is the place where all these paths come together. I believe the Marche is best discovered on foot, walking through its natural beauty, ancient monuments, and vibrant cultural events.

Stefania

Hi! I’m Stefania. I’ve been a tour guide since 2000, when I earned my first license in Ascoli Piceno. Over the years I have specialized in Recanati, Fermo, Loreto, and Macerata.
My kids say that I talk a lot, and they may be right, especially when I get to speak German. That’s why I travel to Germany at least twice a year.

Valeria

Hi, my name is Valeria! I have worked as a tour guide in the Marche since 2000, introducing visitors to its best-known cities and towns, as well as to traditional forms of craftsmanship and agriculture rooted in the region.
I see my work as a soft thread, shaping short but meaningful encounters. It helps people navigate the overload of information we face every day and connect with places in a more human way. I continue to update my knowledge, because places and their stories are living, evolving realities.
